Open Records is proud to announce the last release of the huge year that has been 2011 with Pow-Low‘s Revolution.
After delivering a stunning remix of Sensient’s There Will Be Mud on Expansion Pack, the Swiss master producer again returns with a wicked low-slung weapon, backed up by remixes by fellow Swiss producers The Flying Mustards and rising Australian star FunkForm.
Revolution is Pow-Low at his bass-heavy best, a wonky tech-house groover punctuated by stabby percussion and an addictive swinging rhythm. Perfect for the daytime festival vibes or the club alike, we are excited to welcome Pow-Low back into the fold for our final release.
The Flying Mustards keep the swinging grooves but turn up the uplifting vibes on their remix, with a catchy melodic direction and some fantastic breakdowns that are guaranteed to put a smile on even the most serious d-floor’s face. A perfect tune we expect to hear a lot on the upcoming Australian summer festival season!
Finally, Australian wonder kid FunkForm delivers the closer, trading his traditional deep and tech-house vibes for an evolving melodic techno monster that has already been tried and tested on some of the biggest and best festivals in Australia in 2011.
