One of Australia’s biggest and best-loved outdoor extravaganzas is just around the corner, with Rainbow Serpent Festival set to kick off over Australia Day Weekend (January 25-28) at its home near Beaufort in country Victoria (around 2 hours drive out of Melbourne).
The mothership of Australian outdoor festival events continues to get better with age, with this year’s line-up one of our favourite in history. Names like Audiojack, Guy J, Christian Smith, Eelke Kleijn, FM Radio Gods, Fiord, D-Sens, Kalden Bass, Nathan Fake, Oliver Koletzki and Peter Van Hoesen have us pretty excited, and that’s just the international visitors!
Of course, you can expect a strong contingent of Open Records talent at the festival, with Interpulse, Ed Motive, Jesse Kuch and Paul Abad all locked down for sets, as well as collaborators and good friends Sensient, Jamie Stevens, Kasey Taylor, Uone and Danni B all in attendance, too.
With this plus all the fun you’ve come to know and love about Rainbow, you can sure 2013’s edition will be a treat. See you there!
