The mighty Strawberry Fields Festival celebrates five years this weekend and one of Open Records’ longest-standing DJs has a huge set on Saturday night on the Main Stage.
Ed Motive has been with Open Records since the beginning, but has also enjoyed an even longer association with legendary Aussie label Zenon Records.
Both these long histories come together on Saturday night from 11pm, as Ed kicks off the official 10 Years Of Zenon Records session at Strawberry with a set of what he describes as “classic hoover progressive gear”.
Anyone who loves the iconic, classic sound of Open Records from the early days really won’t want to miss this set.
But that’s not all! Strawberry Fields Festival features one of the biggest line-ups assembled in Australia this year, with fellow Open Records artists and collaborators including Child, Timmus, Moodmachine and Jamie Stevens joining the like of Carl Craig, Nosaj Thing, Moodyman, Tiga, Avatism, Shigeto, Kink, Sascha Braemer, John Tejada and loads more.
Gates open today, so grab your tickets at the door. Check out more info at the Strawberry Fields Festival 2013 website.
