Big weekend of house and techno in Brisbane

Fans of quality house and techno music are in for a treat on Saturday, with two huge shows featuring some of the Sunshine State’s finest talent.

If cruising down Brisbane River to the sounds of some of the city’s finest producers and DJs sounds like your cup of the proverbial tea, you won’t want to miss House VibesLa Vibrations Boat Party from noon.

Co-headlined by Open Records head honcho Jesse Kuch and Brissie house innovator Cassandra Kemp, it also features the talents of Kyle Burchill, Aidan Montero and Swanny (aka John Shannon).

With limited tickets still available at Moshtix for the awesome price of $15+BF, you’d be mad to miss this amazing afternoon on the water.

Oxytocin

Meanwhile, in Fortitude Valley, the boys from Dragonfruit Beats introduce their new concept party Oxytocin in a hidden car park at The Brightside.

Featuring Little Fritter, Jay Berry, Jimmy Ellis, Walker, Jamie Grenenger, Daniel Webber and James Francis from 2pm-late, it’s a huge outing and the first of many under the Oxytocin banner.

If you want to attend both, the good news is all you have to do is keep your pink armband from La Vibrations for a discount $10 ticket on the door.
