Earth Frequency Festival has dropped its fifth and final line-up announcement, with a huge cast of Open Records’ finest mixing it with Australian and international luminaries.
Renowned as Queensland’s most anticipated boutique summer music event, Earth Frequency Festival runs for four days from February 14-17 at a beautiful (and yet-to-be-announced) location just outside Brisbane. A true gathering of the tribes, Earth Frequency transcends traditional festival or event stereotypes, instead focusing on bringing an event that everyone can enjoy.
Celebrating nine years in 2014, next year’s event is one of the biggest in their history, with a whopping 111 artists on the bill. Open Records artists Antix/Fiord, Paul Abad, Lazarus, Closer Apart, Ed Motive and Interpulse are joined by a broad spectrum of talent across a variety of genres, from bass music kings like FreQ Nasty, The Funkhunters, Staunch and Bird Of Prey, to trance legends Zen Mechanics, Tetrameth and Slytrance, chill/downbeat kings Dub Kirtan All-Stars and live outfits Spankinhide, Dubmarine and Kooii (and loads more – check the full line-up here).
Alongside the music, over the four days you can expect a full range of performance, arts, lectures and workshops, creative activities and market stalls, or just an epic bit of Australian bushland to relax. We can’t speak highly enough about Earth Frequency Festival, so if you’re in the region (or can make the trip!), check out more info at their official website here.
