After a killer launch in the Capulet garden in Brisbane last weekend, new Sunday event Get Together brings out the big guns with German superstar Emanuel Satie (Get Physical Music / Knee Deep In Sound / Saved Records) for a special free show.
Normally someone you’d pay top dollar to see, this special event will be totally free all afternoon and evening, meaning there is no excuse not to head down if you’re Brisbne.
With open air vibes, full Void Acoustics sound and our very own Jesse Kuch on support duties alongside Gurps, Doslyf, LXXX and RA, the second edition of Get Together is shaping up to be a treat.
Doors open 2pm-9pm at Capulet, 188 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley. For more information, RSVP on Facebook.
In 2015, Emanuel Satie, the Frankfurt-born, Berlin-based house and techno producer had been steadily picking up steam with hits on DTFD, Get Physical and Gruuv, and was featured in Resident Advisor’s top charted tracks of the year.
But things were only just warming up for Emanuel. 2016 has seen him burst into the spotlight with a consistent string of successful releases. His rework of Late Nite Tuff Guy’s remix of DJ Le Roi & Roland Clark’s I Get Deep hit No.1 in the Beatport overall chart and still sits high in the chart today.
His latest original production also had notable Beatport chart success, Come As You Are, his debut single on Nic Fancuilli’s Saved Records, was a stunning first outing for the label and found favour with many leading jocks across many genres – a testament to Satie’s ability so satisfy even the most discerning floor.
