This time in two weeks, the long-awaited Eclipse2012 Festival finally touches down in Far North Queensland, just before the total solar eclipse crosses the skies on the morning of November 14.
It cannot be argued that this is the largest festival event ever to grace the Far North, bringing with it over 250 acts from across the globe over six stages, alongside massive art installations, a huge food and market area, performers, theatres, cinemas and much more… all in one of the most rugged and beautiful locations mother nature has to offer.
We’re absolutely stoked to say that the whole Australian Open Records team is on the bill for the event, with Cairns’ own Waltone given the prestigious task of “opening” the Sun Stage, while Brisbane’s Paul Abad will rock it on the close. In between (and across the Sun, Axis and Sky Stages) you’ll find all the Open Records Oz team live and in full affect, with a healthy chunk of our overseas collaborators, too. Big thanks to the Eclipse2012 organisers for given us such a big run, we’re counting the days!
