Do you like techno, house and progressive for lunch? Open Records is super excited to be hosting a huge Sunday session of on the main stage at Manifest 2016.
One of the best things about Manifest is its diversity. It’s probably the only event in the world where you can catch legendary New York turntablist DJ Total Eclipse from The X-ecutioners sharing the same stage as psychedelic genius Terrafractyl and jazz maestros Franky Smart Band (and pretty much everything in between).
It’s a true honour for us to be handed the reigns of the almighty Sunday afternoon session on The Vineyard stage, so we promise to bring our A-game when it counts!
Heading up the tunes are two of our favourite Australian producers and live artists, One Tasty Morsel and Doppel.
One Tasty Morsel has a long history with Open Records (spanning back well before we were even a thing!) and he’s sure to deliver an epic transition though psychedelic progressive to techno to kick us off.
On the other hand, Doppel is one of our freshest collaborators and we’re proud to present his first Queensland show at Manifest.
Hailing from the nation’s capital, the enigmatic producer is one of the most innovative and exciting artists we’ve come across of late and a very welcome addition to the roster, with his first single Melt due very soon.
Add to this Manifest veteran and Open Records founder Jesse Kuch and our good friend Jay Berry from Brisbane techno and house crew Dragonfruit, and Sunday afternoon at Manifest is shaping up to be pretty sweet.
