Solve the age-old question of who is better, hippies or hipsters, at the next edition of Black Market at My Aeon in Melbourne on Saturday, April 12.
For those not in the know, Black Market is one of the Melbourne underground’s best-loved and attended nights of house and techno. Responsible for bringing some of Australia and the world’s best acts over two unique stages, this month’s edition features a jam-packed line-up including Steve Ward, Soundfood, Gemma Van D, Volta, Jacob Malmo, Ky Snyder, Rhys Roberts, Liam Waller, Viktor and Augmented.
However this month’s pick is definitely deep maestro Retza, who’s trademark “moose house” grooves caught the attention of Open Records last year. His remix of Timmus‘ Squizzle Kleph (see below) was one of our favourite releases of 2013 and from everything we’ve heard, it’s only goodness coming from his studio since.
